I could not move my arms without pain for a while, and especially typing exacerbated it so much for a while. That's why I abandoned my food blog for a while. No other reason.

I need to change account for this blog very soon, because I have two gmail accounts on Blogger. I also need to take time and figure out how I want to continue this food blog, because I can't picture myself using DSLR everytime I eat or cook, and I'm sick of iphone photos.

For now, I'd like you to visit my new photo journal blog. I do have one picture of food I believe. ;)

Well, Thank you so much for still following my blog.

Juneroadlunahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01742587252555532841noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-487395537981221860.post-44190230430600180292010-10-10T07:21:00.001-07:002010-10-10T07:21:09.897-07:00Lalalalala

Dinner I cooked on Thursday. We have many different seafoods cooked this way, and they are called "jut." squid is one of my very favorite kind.

Ahhh the magical spiciness and chewy texture!!!

I love my country's food culture.
Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone
roadlunahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01742587252555532841noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-487395537981221860.post-48220898282876223582010-10-07T07:05:00.001-07:002010-10-07T07:05:48.057-07:00Yesterday.

Breakfast: brownie, nuts and dry fruits, strawberries, and some whipped cream. This is called je-yuk bokum in Korean, and it is spicy, slightly sweet, pretty much awesome. I marinated pork in some red wine, soy sauce, sugar, and red pepper powder, minced garlics before I cook them with kimchi. This way it brings more complicated flavor than just simply stir frying it with kimchi. Kimchi was also marinated too in sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil. This is my bf's favorite Korean food, and and I was glad he approved my version of this dish.
Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone
roadlunahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01742587252555532841noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-487395537981221860.post-67227572950989285112010-10-04T23:07:00.001-07:002010-10-04T23:07:19.511-07:00Hello.It's been a while. I think I did find someone who thinks there's still sun shining out of my ass even when I'm ugly, in a bad mood, or in a good mood, or whatever. But.......I feel scared. I'm really happy i'm with him. But I feel really really scared that I have a responsibility to tell my parents about him. They will hate him. They will hate the person who really loves me and makes me happy.

This isn't fair. But there's really nothing I can do about it. Just like my brother said, I either have to abandon my parents, or myself. He abandoned himself. And my parents are still mean to him. Even meaner to him.

......idk what to do.

Grad school search is going ok. I just hope it proceeds a little faster. There's a good chance a large chunk of my applications are going to ny. The city full of rats and foul bathrooms and scary people and money and poor people. Oh also. I still love NYC.

Maybe I'll get into grad school. And I'll abandon my parents. And maybe they'll find a way to move on.

.....probably not.

- Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

roadlunahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01742587252555532841noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-487395537981221860.post-64075172385270244482010-09-12T23:00:00.001-07:002010-09-12T23:00:21.100-07:00Today.

I had six pieces of sushis and fruit w/ cottage cheese for lunch. I had the worst day, ended up crying a little. I'm not attached to my blog enough to write when I'm crying. So yeah. Here is today's breakfast.

Starbucks Raspberry scone left over from last night. Scones taste quite buttery to me, and thats what I like about them. It's probably "to avoid" list of breads if you're on low carb diet. But umm did I tell you I was depressed? Yeah. Back off.

I also had a blueberry cheesecake yogurt and a cup of think O2 tea. This was supposed to enhance my mental performance..but I doubt it. I'll drink more tomorrow before my Japanese test and determine if it works or not.

I had tunamelt sandwich from diner for lunch. But didn't take a picture of it. Ahh. I had a lot of carb and sugar today. But did I tell you that I'm depressed? Yeah. Back off.
That's why I had a big cup of hot fucking chocolate.

I also skipped a picture of dinner. Sorry about that. I keep forgetting. I had a seven inch hot Italian sausage sub smothered in peppers and onions. The sausage was dry and there was no cheese in it. How dare they serve me dry sausage when I'm ovulating+depressed+cranky+pmsing?????? It's ok though. They gave me fabulous garden salad with oil and vinegar. And that made my dinner better. Then I had two glasses of this lovely wine made by Penn state alumni.
Let me show you a better pic of this wine.

Evergreen Valley. They use self generated electricity, and only use recycled paper for their labels. The Penn state grad does know how to go green, how to make decent wine, and how to partay.

I then watched Austrailia on HBO and ate a dark chocolate mousse,

And some of amazing Hagen daz frozen yogurt ice cream.

Ahhh. Frozen yogurt is the best kind of ice cream. Had live culture and calcium added to it..this is definitely the kind made for pmsing women. :b

Now. Baz Luhrman's Australia. I love Australia. I've been there, and it was one of the most beautiful place on earth. And I envy everyone who lives there. And I love Hugh Jackman. Because he is very good looking and has charming voice. I love Nicole Kidman even more. And I did love faces of natives in this movie.the Movie really did try to capture essence of australia's past and future, and I think it did well. I just thought the love story and everything was too "out of Africa-ish," and predictable, and I didn't have to pay attention to it at all. It was just comical at first when Kidman was having culture shock in wild Australia, and it was quite hot couple to look at the bed scene. But that was about it. Wasn't too inspiring. Well but i liked everything Kidman wore in that movie.

And the actors were good looking.

I like Nicole Kidman. Tonight was quite alright. Not too depressed anymore. If my mom doesn't call me tomorrow I'll be ok for a little bit.

Oh by the way, Dana Marcolina is back on runway.

Isn't she lovely? I still need to get used to it you know.

Well I had 8am class today, and I had half a glass of bad iced lattee during class. Then I had a glass of iced chai lattee with wegmans yogurt parfait with strawberries and blueberries. It came with good amount of granola, but I didn't eat those.

Then I had a turkey sonoma sandwich on honey wheat bread at Irving's. It's a sandwich with Turkey, guacamole spread, veggies and cheese and I ate this without it's top bread.

In the afternoon, I got hungry so I had some of black bean soup from wegmans. They make really good black bean soup!! I was impressed. But it was seriously filling and I had to leave some. Probably 1/4 of it. And this, I took a picture. :)

Anyone knows how to upload pictures in bigger size with right resolution? I tried to mess with HTML and size of my pictures..but it only blew them up and made them look ugly. I mean of course ppl can click on them and see the picture..but who would?? I wanna make them show as a decent size and I somehow can't find a way to do it. I'll figure it out somehow.

Anyway after this I had quiznos classic Cobb salad. They were supposed to have hard boiled eggs for toppings but this didn't have them. I got it for free so I guess I won't complain about it. I didn't use their ranch dressing because I'm sick of creamy buttery flavors. Just sick of it. I put my ev olive oil and white wine vinegar. And put a little bit of avocado ranch at the end.

I also had a cup of "think o2" tea while I was doing hws. I hate my schedule this semester. They have so many annoying time consuming homeworks and I always end up using all my times doing stupid things that's not gonna help me in grad school. Gre is coming in three fucking weeks and I didn't even start studying yet. I really don't think I'm gonna get in anywhere good. I've never seen my plans falling apart this well before. Oh and of course seeing my family being the main reason of my failure. Wow. Really didn't see that coming. Didn't see that coming...

I also had two part skim mozzarella string cheese.

Ah. I wanna cook so bad. I wish I have servants for organizing and doing stupid hws.

I think I need to start sleeping maximum five hours to achieve everything I need to. Starting..day after tomorrow. ...yeah.
- Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone
roadlunahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01742587252555532841noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-487395537981221860.post-19810265130726529552010-09-06T22:52:00.001-07:002010-09-07T09:04:05.731-07:00New beginningI decided to start writing on my food blog again. It is important to be conscious with what I'm eating..and plus! I got an iPhone 4..hahaha
I stopped writing on my blog only because I hated my pictures from iPhone 3G. Since my contact was almost done, I was waiting to get a new iPhone with WAY better camera so I can put up more visually pleasing pictures. :)

So this was my breakfast today. (spring mix and shrimp salad with shredded carrots, pecans, mozzarella balls, edamames, and other cool veggies with pomegranate+acai berry dressing.) this was more of a brunch..or really late lunch.. Cuz I ate this at 3:30 pm. -_- I tend to have extremely weird schedule during the weekend. I go to bed after 4am and wake up after 1 pm. It's healthy if I manage to eat before 5. Hopefully I won't go that extreme this semester. :b they also gave me a small cup of tomato cheddar soup for free. With a small roll. I gave up the roll for my bf but it was plenty anyways.

My second meal was a cup of good old sam yang ramen noodle. I forgot to take a picture so here is a nice image from google. I didn't eat ramen for about a month..especially ramen in paper cup- that has been years. It's not good for you, I don't like it, but once in a while- when you get sick of cheesy buttery meh American food. Ramen does bring me back to spicy nature of Korean in me ;)
I had really late dinner around 11 pm. It was a salad from wegmans, which had toppings of seasoned tofus, toasted nuts, olives, grape tomatoes. This was ok- salad but dressing tasted very buttery. I had to stop eating at some point cuz I felt like throwing up. :(

New semester is not that great. I have no volunteer works or lab works this semester. Only grad school applications, gres, begging profs for recommendations, and fighting with my mom constantly. I bought pretty little "rose bowl" nail color from AA and guess what. It was broken and left a huge mess on my hands. They can't even send me a new one cuz they ran out of this color!!! I had to settle with this whiteish "California trooper" color instead. :/ I'm still sucker for American apparel though. Couldn't even be mad at customer service girl.

Ahhh!!!! How do I sleep and wake up for 8 am!!!!!!!
- Posted using BlogPress from my iPhoneroadlunahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01742587252555532841noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-487395537981221860.post-35471917698749327682010-04-27T23:44:00.000-07:002010-04-28T00:05:00.694-07:00tired.Last night, I studied organic chemistry till 3 or so.
